What he said applies to me too since we're from the same area.

I've been in the house now for a week.  Hubby has been walking to the grocery store and drug store to pick up stuff we needed.  He slipped on the ice underneath the snow and hurt his shoulder.  Also cars have been getting stuck in the intersection in from of our house, and he's been helping getting them unstuck.  He did manage to get our car out once, and went to look for a snowblower (none to be had) so he got a huge propane tank thing-a-ma-bob to melt the stuff.  lol  Thankfully he hasn't used it yet.  If you hear of a giant explosion in Pittsburgh, you'll know it was us.

I'm sick of being in the house.  Thankfully though, we've only lost electricity for a couple hours.  My hubby's friend lost his for 3 days and stayed over at our house, sleeping on the couch until late last night when he walked home.
I may go for a walk tomorrow just to get some air.

It snowed like three inches the other day, but it all melted before I had to even clear off the car!
:D

I dunno.  It ain't like I never seen a lot of snow before.  I remember the Blizzard of '78!  For some reason, no matter how bad it is, when some other region gets the big storm, and I don't, it's like a buddy in high school is getting laid...and I'm not!

I live near Rochester and we haven't gotten much snow this year and I don't think Buffalo has either. I think Syracuse averages more snow per year than Buffalo.

Re. the subject of this thread: we've had snow, but it's almost gone now. This has been (is) one of the snowiest winters in Dutch history, but we didn't get as much as you guys in U.S. Not even when you add it all up.

So... I'm coping alright.
