Subject: Vote for the 2010 Igor Awards (my anti-Oscar)!

Written By: ChrisBodilyTM on 03/03/10 at 6:42 pm

This is my third annual knockoff of the Oscars. Known in its inaugural year as the Felix Awards, I needed to change the name, and I decided upon Igor since nobody else has used it, though I think Oskar would be a funny name or Ozkor.

I did this original in 2008 since the Oscars snubbed Rob Zombie's Halloween remake and a few other movies. I did it last year, too, since the Oscars overlooked The Dark Knight in many major categories.

Here are the 2010 nominees. You can vote for more than one and the winners will be announced sometime to coincide with the Oscars March 7, 2010.  (More nomionees may be added later, bear with me...)

Nobody's voting?  :-[ :-\\

I guess I'm gonna have to expand my horizons a bit. I wasn't getting any votes on IMDb nor here, and I've been using Rotten Tomatoes reviews as votes. Why the lack of fanfare? And why is it that nobody likes sci-fi? Nobody has any taste in movies, all they wanna see is boring REALISTIC movies.  8-P

I know we all love movies, and I was expecting a s***load of replies with all your votes. Nobody on any forum anywhere wants to pitch in, so I'm having to rely on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes reviews to compensate. I was expecting many more replies than this, let me tell you.

Happy voting!  :)
