Subject: Paris Hilton 'arrested with cocaine' in Las Vegas

American socialite Paris Hilton has been arrested in the US for alleged possession of cocaine, police say.
Ms Hilton was arrested by Las Vegas police when they stopped a car in which she was a passenger.
Officers found some suspicious powder in the car, which later proved to be cocaine.
She was booked into the county jail before being charged and released, police said.
Police spokesman Marcus Martin said Ms Hilton was being driven by a friend when they were stopped by police at 2330 local time (0630 GMT).
"Officers noticed a vehicle leaving smoke trail of a controlled substance made a stop based on that," he said.
She was taken to Clark County Detention Center and charged before being released "on her own recognizance "- meaning she has promised to appear in court but has not had to pay bail.
Watch commander Lt Wayne Holman said the driver of the car had been charged with driving under the influence of drugs, the Associated Press reported.
There has been no comment from Ms Hilton's management team.
Ms Hilton was briefly arrested in July by South African police who suspected her of smoking marijuana, but she was later released without charge.
She served time in jail for drunk driving in 2007.

Her defense is that the pocketbook wasn't hers, it belongs to a friend and she borrowed it. Everything else in the pocket book was hers, just not the cocaine. So now she will have to name a name. I figure she will go the tired route of blaming the housekeeper. Stay tuned.

Nah, these things are so big they won't fit in my wallet.
I have a crew that has to unroll 'em like the groundskeepers at PNC Park unfurl the infield tarp when a Pirates game is delayed for rain. :P
