Subject: Any programs to age someone?

Written By: Ryan112390 on 09/21/10 at 3:09 am

Hey

You always see on TV, like on crime shows, computer programs which age a suspect's face or alter one's face to adjust for age, weight changes, etc--To give an estimation of what the person might look like. Are there any programs anyone here knows of that can actually do this?

On a non-professional level, I just bought a cheap piece of used software that I haven't gotten to play with yet.  It's by a company called Selectsoft Publishing, and it's called Photo Morph Studio.  It's actually used to morph two photos into one, but in your instance, I could see using this software with say, a child's photo and one of the mom or dad... That might work.

While I can't verify any of these sites (and you really have to be super careful as they may be a front for virus downloading to your machine or information fishing...)  Nothing in life is guaranteed, here are a few sites I found just doing a quick search for "age progression"

Age me - http://www.age-me.com/ costs $1.99 per photo

EFIT is another program, but it is only available to police departments

aNOTHER ONE "FACES"  (SAME AS ABOVE - ONLY FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT COSTS $600)

The perception laboratory's facial transformer - http://morph.cs.st-andrews.ac.uk//

Not you.  The originator of the thread, besides you are WAY above the age to drink so you wouldn't NEED  a fake I.D. (unless you are part of the witless protection program)  :D ;)

I always looked young for my age.  I still do.  I just can't be mistaken for a high school student anymore!
;D

I got carded for liquor until I was about 32.  When I finally to "age," I did what everybody else does, fretted about it.  When you're younger, you want to look older; when you're older, you want to look younger.  You can't win with vanity!

When Howard pushed shop carts for Pathmark,
One day he forgot his shave kit.
He thought it would make him look older,
But the darn thing was loaded with Shaving Cream!
Be nice and clean,
Shave every day and you'll always look keen!

(I fixed it for him.  Next verse, just like the first...)

Either you listened to Dr. Demento or pops had an old Benny Bell record in sailor's chest.  Either way, Karma to you.
