Yeah, best new male artist of 2010.
I'll also add Owl City /Adam Young/, B.o.B, Lady Antebellum and Justin Bieber (he's a pop phenomenon). As for rock...hmm.. My Darkest Days & The Pretty Reckless.

Even though they have been around for a bit, they just got success last year --The Black Keys. For a band without a bassist, they sure are loud and heavy. My other picks are the Neon Trees and Mumford and Sons.
