Actually I’ve been waiting to see if anyone posted anything on the Charlie Sheen acting like a jackass to be posted on the boards, but nothing has surfaced.
I didn’t want to admit, that I, too was following this massive train wreck of a career happening. I can't really say I've even seen the show that much that I should really care...

But his “exclusive” interviews are out shadowing the Oscar reviews, so I thought I’d speak my mind.

So, what does anyone here think, or care about this? I think it’s both funny and embarrassing that a multi-millionaire actor, getting paid 1.8 Million an episode (one of the highest amounts in history) is complaining about ANYTHING. ::)

This guy, a drunken, cocaine addled, porn star worshiping, goofball has the gall to ask for $3 million to continue his “act” on a show, already shut down after he has ruthlessly attacked his show’s producers and production company as if he’s been somehow been besmirched by the “Hollywood” system that he has so gladly taken part of? Can you imagine being so lucky as to be able to take down your boss in such a way and still have a job? Only obscene amounts of money and thoughts of un-entitled privilege does this...
And in his own off the cuff reactions has managed to shut down production of his show and deprive the other cast and crew of pay (yes I’ve read that WB has agreed to pay the crew for about 4 weeks (one half) of the lost wages they would of received).  His own publicist has bailed on him at this point.

It’s only for entertainment value at this point, but I wonder how long can you watch a career go down in flames before he hits the ground in a loud thud? How long will it be till Sheen realizes that he’s so far beyond drug addiction that “he pulls up and fly’s right?”

I hate to admit it, I've said that I don't care, but then I go and listen to an interview of him or read an article about him. So I guess that I am amused by him (in a negative way) and that I do care.

What do I think of him? I think he's a spoiled brat and very selfish. I also think that he's so far in his drug addiction that he won't get help.

I guess that's my opinion.  8)

Like they did with MJ. Treated him like he was a freak when he was alive, hounded him over his personal life (who gives a damn if he had plastic surgery? It was his face and his money) and accused him of things I don't personally believe he did, and basically turned on him. When he died, he became a saint and they cried all over each other about how great he was--Yet he was given not even half of that respect when he was alive.

I hope he can get his life back together and start returning to TV soon.

I'd certainly make that trade if I knew I was going to live to be 90. And even then, I don't think that just one day would be enough. I mean, to me, being Charlie Sheen for just one day would be like flying to London or Paris, spending one day there, and then flying right back home. I'd want at least a week, preferably two, so I could really take it all in.  :D

Amen.  I've had friends and family with drug addiction problems and the accompanying self-destructive lifestyles.  They lie.  They deny.  They avoid anyone they think is going to interfere.  When the concerned parties confront them, the addict will shut those people out -- with violence if necessary. 

The difference with celebrity druggies is most addicts don't have millions of dollars, giant homes with security personnel, a team of attorneys, and PR managers providing an iron protective bubble. 

Unless Sheen's family can present a rock-solid legal case that Charlie is an imminent threat to himself or others, they can't force him into treatment.  I don't even know if Sheen is an active addict, but he certainly behaves like one.  Furthermore, he's been in rehab before.  What's to say he wouldn't go right back to his wicked ways?  Sheen might go the way of Michael Jackson in the end.
