My thoughts are with your family and all the residents (and travelers through that area.)

The tornado season has just begun.

I called my sister last night when I thought the storms were out of the Tulsa area-but only got her machine. I left a message and still haven't heard back. I'll call later tonight.

Just talked to my sister. All is well. She said that I was more worried than she was. She slept through most of it. My niece in OKC has a basement which is good.

The KC metro area had a few small tornadoes here and there yesterday, I haven't really heard any reports of damage or injuries.

There's a town about 80 miles east of here called Sedalia that got hit by a tornado yesterday, 25 people suffered minor injuries but thankfully no one was killed.

Hope you're all OK out there.  :(

I started a thread on it...in the 2000s sections by accident!

The tornadoes were in the Springfield area south of where I am (Amherst).  Four people got killed.  Two in West Springfield, one in Westfield, and one in Brimfield.  Gov. Patrick called out the National Guard and declared a state of emergency in the devastated area.  It's a big mess.  We're not used to tornadoes here.  Not that one really gets used to them.  There were tornado warning up here in Hampshire county.  We had heavy thunderstorms and hail the size of Lima beans.  Hail is very rare around here also.
