Subject: What 2012 movies are you looking forward to seeing?

Written By: batfan2005 on 02/28/12 at 2:19 pm

This summer's line-up is looking pretty promising. I am looking forward to Dark Knight Rises (of course). This is supposed to be the last movie of the Nolan-Bale team. I'm guessing they are going to put that series to rest before it gets out of hand like the last Batman series. I am also excited about the Avengers, as Captain America was my favorite movie of 2011. Thor was good too. It will be interesting to see them as a team, especially with Robert Downey Jr. I'm not too sure about the new Spiderman, I'm not sure why they are restarting that series so soon (only 10 years after the first of the last series).

They should've stopped at the 1995 Batman Forever in the last Batman series. At least they're smarter now.

Is is just my imagination or is everything on that list either a sequel or a remake?

Which is why I'm lobbying so hard for them to actually distribute the movie that Foo Bar posted.  Schlock at its finest, and at least it is somewhat original. :D

And it has Barry Bostwick!  And Ray Wise!

That's what everything is today, remakes and sequels.

"Snakes on a Plane", because Hollywood is out of ideas.

(Hence why I went with "American Badass".  The one thing we haven't seen since Snakes on a Plane is a proper attempt to revive the B-movie genre.)

Ray Wise, the bad guy from 'Robocop'
The asshole father from 'The Chase'
or the Devil from 'Reaper'

Oh wait, that is all the same Ray Wise LOL.  The man is a fantastic actor!

The caring father who would fight for worker's rights in "The Journey of Natty Gann". :D
