Subject: Another British invasion?

Written By: belmont22 on 11/26/12 at 6:00 pm

I've noticed British music is doing pretty well lately. Adele, Ellie Goulding, One Direction, Cher Lloyd and The Wanted have all had hits in the US. Also with the Idol/Talent shows there's a connection between the US and British music scenes again that way.

I suppose it's not that new since in the Noughties we had Natasha, Lily, and so on but it seems like the proportion of British artists in US charts is increasing.

What are some of your favorite British songs of the past couple years?

Let's not forget that the Rolling Stones are also on their 50th anniversary tour.  These guys are the kings of debauchery.  8)

They just keep on rolling!  :o I think in 50 more years, on their 100th anniversay tour, their heads will all be in jars with microphones and they'll play the guitars with their minds.  ;D

It didn't? My bad. Well, she's still pretty well known here.
