Subject: Changing Wendy (Another case of new-logo-itis)

Written By: Sammy Reed on 04/16/13 at 4:14 pm

First, due to a few people on YouTube writing comments that they don't mean, but who just love making those kinds of comments about people online, the commercials with the real Wendy stopped. In perhaps my lone opinion, I think she's a nice-looker, and should've stayed on.
Then they replace her with, well, someone who I guess is supposed to be a new Wendy. I could say more, but I'll go on.
And now, Wendy's is changing their logo, keeping Wendy's pigtails (unlike the one in the commercials), but giving her kindof a new look. Perhaps to match the one in the commercials, if she had pigtails?
I believe this is another case of fixing something that wasn't broke.
What are your thoughts?

I don't know about the new logo, but the Wendy's chick in the TV commercials is HOT.  :P

She could give me a Thick and Frosty any day.

Her name is Morgan Smith Goodwin and she's an actress and a singer from Birmingham Alabama. I'm not crazy about the new Wendy's chick but she'll do.

She kind of reminds me of Alyson Hannigan.  I thought that's who it was when I first started seeing those ads

The original Wendy must be in her late forties by now.

I liked her!  You don't as many fuller-figured women on t.v. as you should, (unless they are being ridiculed).  :-http://ts4.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.4539940328835335&pid=15.1

Melinda Lou Thomas was born on September 14, 1961.  So, she'll be 52 this year.  Looks pretty good at that.  :)

Here's why they are using two "Wendys" or is it "Wendies"?  ::) ???
