Video-Game publisher Activision, parent compan of Blizzard Entertainment, earlier this month brought Sierra On-Line back from the dead as a studio. For those who don't know, Sierra was the leading developer and publisher in PC gaming in '90s, known for games such as King's Quest, Space Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Gabriel Knight, Betrayal at Krondor and later, Half Life and Homeworld. The were the kings in the early-mid '90s.

The newly revived Sierra has announced that it will be publishing a brand new King's Quest game, developed by The Odd Gentleman, which will come out in 2015. This will mark the first entry in the beloved franchise since 1998. Sierra will also be publishing Geometry Wars 3, which will come out this Holida season. Sierra will primarily publish their games digitally, on Xbox Live, PS1, and Steam and will act as a publisher for edg, indie developers.
