Subject: Spike TV Rebranding

Written By: LyricBoy on 03/08/15 at 3:23 pm

The saga of Spike TV continues.

They have announced a new logo and a "repositioning" of the brand.  Spike TV was launched as the "Network for Men", but now it will be "The One To Watch"

Before all of this messing around, it was known originally as "The Nashville Network" and then "The National Network".

Now it should be known as "We can't compete with other networks."

Sucky Programs Involving Knucklheaded Episodes.

I only watch the channel for two things.

One, the "Power Block" which is an auto/hot rodding series of shoes that is a hold out from the old Nashville Network days (and recently "rebranded" as the Power Nation  ::) . )

Two, "Bar Rescue" featuring bar and restaurant guru Jon Taffer.

The rest is crap.  8-P

I remember back in the late 90's/2000s they went from Nashville Network to the National Netwok when they acquired WWF wrestling. Do they still play CSI reruns constantly?

Who cares if they rebrand? They have nothing interesting to offer on television anyway.
