Could Hugh Jackman be parting ways with Wolverine? The Australian actor posted a cryptic message on his Instagram page: WOLVERINE... ONE LAST TIME. HJ.

Hugh's Wolverine first appeared in 2000's X-Men. The Hollywood star has appeared in X-Men films six times, including 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Fans responded glumly. "Nobody can replace Hugh Jackman. Don't look like you have aged since the first X-men movie. #1 Wolverine/Hugh Jackman," wrote joshuaarkell. Sparksmidnight simply wrote: "You're the only Wolverine."

Yeah, it's time for him to remove the claws. joshuaarkell is wrong. He's aged a lot since the first X-Men movie. He was 32 then. Now he's 46. It was going to happen eventually.

I'm interesting in seeing who plays him next, and if he'll be anywhere near as good as Hugh. He was great.
