Subject: Glenn Close to make West End debut

After months of speculation, Hollywood actress Glenn Close has confirmed she will make her West End debut next April when she reprises her Tony Award-winning role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard.

The Fatal Attraction star will play the lead role of faded film star Norma Desmond, a part that she played to great acclaim on Broadway, which opened back in 1994.

Lord Lloyd Webber said: "I am thrilled that London audiences will at last get a chance to see Glenn's performance in the role of Norma Desmond which was so hugely acclaimed in the USA."
