Subject: Kelly Clarkson cancels UK tour on doctor's orders for 'vocal rest'

Kelly Clarkson has cancelled her UK tour, which had been due to kick off in Glasgow on 12 November. The singer says she's been forced to take "vocal rest" for the rest of the year on her doctor's orders. Clarkson, who pulled her remaining US tour dates earlier this month, has also cancelled 10 concerts in Canada and Ireland. "I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates," she said in a statement on her website. "I was so looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the UK. "Unfortunately my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible."
