Subject: What does your smartphone timeline look like?

I'll go first. Tell us why you switched out your phone and maybe some memories with that phone!

September 2010 - August 2012: Samsung Galaxy S

Why I bought it - I was out of high school and was desperate for all those smartphone thingies people were talking about. I heard this was the best so I bought it!
Why I switched out - Laggy mess. Stuck on Android 2.3. Shattered the screen by putting it in my back pocket and sitting on a rock.
Favourite memory: Despite what some hacks might say about smartphones killing socializing, I actually started eating out more and hanging out with my friends at new places thanks to the Foursquare app.

August 2012 - January 2015: Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Why I bought it - Nexus phones always get updates first. Project Butter came out with Android 4.1 and purportedly fixed the lag issues, and so I jumped in!
Why I switched out - The battery was destroyed. It couldn't even last five minutes if I connected to the network. It was also over 3 generations old at that point.
Favourite memory: Going to many biking trails with the help of its GPS.

January 2015 - Present: Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Why I bought it - It was top of the line! I wanted a big screen, and the stylus.
Why I switched out - I see no reason to switch out in the near future, completely satisfied!
Favourite memory: Going to Orlando, and taking pictures with it at Disneyland and Universal Studios!

Let's hear it from you!  ;)

Pretty much the only smartphone I have is...

the iPhone 5C (December 2014 - present).

I don't really enjoy myself using it, but at least it's better than using a cellphone, that looks it was made from the mid 2000s. I think it'll be nice if I got an iPhone 6 at the least, but my dad doesn't give a sh*t.

I heard awful things about that phone.  :( You don't need a good phone in high school though, just concentrate on your grades.  ;) ;D

I am not an Apple fanboy, I just don't like the Android OS.

That's even worse!  >:(

Just kidding.  ;) I do a lot of programming/scripting on my phone, so Android is pretty much my only choice.

After my Nokia finally stopped working by dropping in the toilet, this is it;

Jan 2014 - now: Samsung Galaxy S3.

It's my third phone since 2004.

I don't bring my phone to school though, since I'd rather concentrate more on my classes. Although, if it was important for say emergencies, I'll bring it to school.

I've only had one other smart phone than this one but I don't recall what it was called. I'll have to look into it. It was a Samsung I believe. But this one is LG Optimus Exceed 2. I got it in May/June 2014.
