A lot of people are just as obsessed with the early 2000s as they are the '90s, but I really hope there isn't a full on revival.  It could happen if Trump gets elected and the cultural pendulum swings rightward.  People forget how conservative the early 2000s were compared to today.

Most of the stuff that's making a comeback is from the mid 90s to the early 2000s. But I think some mid 2000s stuff is getting on the way for being revived.

I also felt like it was an early 2000s Britney Spears song when I first heard it! Looking at the MV though, it looks like she's going for a late 90s/Kpop mix vibe.

Music wise I don't know, I don't listen to pop.

When looking at clothes I know flared jeans are in favor now and low rise is coming back in. Very reminiscent of the core 00's.

Personally, I would hope not. I'm one of the few people here who favor the culture and music of this decade over that of the 2000s. Plus, it feels WAAAAY to early to revive any of that stuff, considering a lot of it JUST became irrelevant less than 5 years ago.

I don't think a 2000s revival will come until the 20s and we may not know what revival will bring and what aspects of the 00's will be most missed.

Today's more conservative and more liberal than the early 2000s. People tend to be either the far left or the far right.

Which is probably why early 00's revival seems to be here in 2016/2017. Some say that it's too early for a 00's revival, but it's odd as they didn't say these things when the early '80s and '90s had their revival. Wonder what's happening here.  ???

2016 shows signs of an early form of 2000s nostalgia. By 2020-2021 I'd expect the revival to be in full swing. Getting tired of these revivals, but then agains these things been happening since the 1950s or 1960s when the concept of Nostalgia become known to people. In the 1990s there was so much 1970s nostalgia that it was crazy.
