I wanted to discuss this since someone on an IM kind of reminded me about this. Anyway, what I have to say about this is that I haven't seen this in the 2000s, so I believe this to be exclusively a 2010s and a 20th century phenomenon (a lot of fashion from the 2010s is either recycled from that time or otherwise has a hipster vibe to it where ugly is the new beautiful). I just want to know if this is the case, if it is a 2010s phenomenon. The news site it isn't though.
