I was thinking about this topic a few minutes ago and I personally believe that the most representative movie of the 2010s is "Gaurdians of the Galaxy". It was released in 2014, right within the midst of core 2010's culture. Additionally, it is also a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, arguably the most popular film genre this decade. The main character in the film is nostalgic for things from his childhood on Earth, such as his cassette recorder and songs from the '70s. I believe this is a perfect representation of how a lot of elements of 2010s pop culture focus on "revivals" and nostalgia for previous decades. Michael Rooker plays a supporting role in the film and he is the actor who played Merle on The Walking Dead, one of the most popular television shows of the 2010s. What do you think?
