I really think 2008-2011 was way better even if it was kind of a forced era at least then you still had somewhat good pop culture and not all the 00s culture was gone and look were a dark tone brought us a very dull decade 2012-2017 is the worst era of my years I've experienced which is since 1995 when I think of 2008-2011 I actually get good vibes.the only cool thing about 2012-2017 is the tech that's it.So do you like the early 10s better I know i do or do you like 2012-2017 better.Thanks for answering.

I quite honestly like both eras and I think both have their ups and downs.

I would give every f*cking thing to time travel to any year before 2012. Those were my happier and carefree days, back when I wasn't so depressed and mainstream music was actually good. 2012-to present day sucks.

To me, '08 and '09 were better than now but 2010 - 2012 was the worst time for me, especially 2012. That's when I went to the deep end with my depression. 2013 - 2017 was way better than 2010 - 2012 for me.

Well it’s a bit personal, but long story short I got bullied that year and I refused to go to school with the fear of getting bullied. I would get called names every single day in school it was a living hell for me. Worst of all, my dog died that year. I can remember holding him in my arms and tears dropping from my cheeks onto my pet. He helped me feel better when I felt sad and lonely. I still cry to this day when I think of him. Shoot, I’m actually starting to tear up right now just writing this post.

Idk, imo there's nothing to like about them. Those years were boring as hell, there was a pretty bad recession right around that time, the music was bad......they would have to be my least favourite years so far 8-P.
Basically a lot of the good aspects of the 2000s were long gone by then, but a lot of the good things to come in the 2010s hadn't shown up yet.

The Early 2010s were far better.

I agree fully. Mainstream music still valued lyricism and variety over monotony and shallowness. Nothing after 2011 stacks up.
