Toy Story 4

Nearly all of these are sequels or reboots.  I think that is one of the big problems with '10s movies.  There isn't much that is original this decade.

Toy Story 4 is entirely unnecessary.  I really liked Toy Story 3 and I thought it served as an excellent finale.

I totally agree with ya. And I feel like 2019 will break the 12 billion mark at the box office. In the 2020s I would like to see more original films. But it is Hollyweird were talking about.

Sometime, probably 2019, will see the release of the remake of the musical "Oliver!", with Adele as Nancy, and Eddie Rendmayne as Fagin.

Tremors 7.  Michael Gross may have been best known for Family Ties, but he has been the consistent star of the Tremors movies for nearly 30 years.

Seems like 2019 is gonna be a great year for movies!  :D Avengers: Endgame better be good, and I really hope the next Star Wars movie will succeed.

I heard Steven Spielberg is directing a remake of "West Side Story", but I do not know when it is due for release.

Sadly it won't :(  Maybe in 2020

I doubt Gambit will be made.
Gambit has been already been remade in 2012 with Colin Firth, Cameron Diaz. From the original 1966 film of the same name starring Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine.

Oh, I thought it was going to be a remake of the 1997 film that starred Harland Williams, lol.

Why don't they remake classic 40s-60s movies like The Woman In The Window, The Sound of Music or Double Indemnity?

The sonic movie seems very cool since the trailer was showed at CinemaCon. The Toy Story 4 trailer is also very cool. Shazam! was also very cool.

I was thought a Zelda movie directed by Peter Jackson would have been good, with Lindsay Lohan starring as Princess Zelda and the story based on Ocarina of Time.

No, but there's been a Super Mario Bros film in the 90's which was terrible, lol. They could make a good one now though with all the CG technology.

Thar was the one with Bob Hoskins, I never saw, but I remember it being a turkey. Looking online, I see it has 14% on Rotten Tomatoes, and ashamed to see that Dennis Hopper starred in it.

I think expanding and adapting the storylines of some Steve Barron music videos to the big screen could potentially work.

The midas touch idea implied in the Billie Jean video for example with some mysteries (Bruno Mars can play the charcter MJ played in the video). Or better yet, the way the comic guy came to life in a-ha's Take On Me and the intro of The Sun Always Shines On TV videos. ;)

I'd also love to see the computer animated guys from Money For Nothing get their own computer animation series or movie. And a UK-based mystery/thriller that looks like Don't You Want Me by the Human League would be good imo (Midsomer Murders comes close, but I'd prefer a full-length movie).

And yet the best movie of 2019 so far is an original one, Us :D

At the viewing of "The Lion King", we saw the trailer for Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cats", it is to be star-studded, and set for a December release.

To be honest, I liked the remake, but the graphics though were the main attraction, they looked soo realistic! I did spot a few editing errors here and there but overall very impressed by how 3D graphics have come in terms of movies and games.

When I said disappointed, I still like some directorial touches to it, but on the whole the original is supreme.

2019 has been the year of a lot of box office flops. Only Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Hobbs & Shaw, and a select few others have met or exceeded my expectations. Ad Astra looks pretty interesting.
