Subject: Netflix fires Kevin Spacey from 'House of Cards'

Looks like one of the biggest shows of this decade is going to lose its main character :o

Netflix has officially parted ways with “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey amid mounting claims of sexual assault.

The streaming giant also said it would cancel the Gore Vidal biopic, “Gore,” which was set to star the two-time Oscar-winning actor.

“Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey,” a spokesman for Netflix said in a statement. “We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show.”

That's a shame. I thought the last season would flop since it's difficult to outdo the real life political drama going on in the actual White House, but they did manage to successfully pull it off! But this idiot couldn't keep it in his pants  >:( I feel bad for his victims.  :(

I'm glad studios are gutsy enough to recognize just how unacceptable sexual assault is and how deep a punishment its perpetrators deserve. It's too bad a once-praised series is now wrecked by the personal life of its main star, a lot like The Cosby Show, but issues of sexual harassment aren't to be taken lightly. It's definitely a frenzied issue, but the least we can do is draw the line as clearly as possible.

It's funny because I originally imagined House of Cards would likely last into the 2020s because of how significant it has been this decade, particularly in cementing Netflix as a big time player in original television. Now, it's clearly little more than a relic of the mid-2010s.

Well he can always do porn.

Steve Hirsch and his Vivid Video would do a deal with Spacey.

Kevin Spacey is not a porn actor, he's a movie actor.

Well he can still be a movie actor, just porn.

At this stage of the game, a porn contract is about all he'd get offered.

Oh there is an endless supply of "talent" in that sector of the film industry. I'm assuming they'd want him to do gay porn. But since he is also a pretty good actor he could probably do straight flicks too.
