Subject: Songs Of Experience - U2

U2 dropped their 14th album today...

...and it’s awesome!  :D

Its definitely a good album from them (my current favourites are “The Little Things”, “Red Flag Day”, “13”, “Get Out Of Your Own Way” and “Love is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way”), and the reaction has been very positive so far from not only critics and fans but also friends that I’ve talked to. Some people say that it’s their best album in decades, and I’m inclined to agree.

I know you guys are busy analysing decades, trends and the like, but sometimes its best to stop to enjoy the little things in life. There’s still some great music being made now, and albums like this (even from an older band) give me hope for the future.

Enjoy!  ;)

U2 will also host SNL alongside Saoirse Ronan tomorrow night if anyone is interested.

U2 is now the first band to have number one albums in 4 different decades (1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s).

Yeah it’s pretty good. ;) The 2nd half of the album is very strong and its an awesome listen the whole way through.  Definitely one of their best albums this century.  ;D

Edit: Once you finish listening to the album, check out “Book Of Your Heart” on the deluxe edition. It’s a very atmospheric and interesting track.
