It was decent, but compared to 2012-present, the year was pretty weak along with 2011. Just leftovers from the 2000's.

Yes!! Inception and Black Swan were both released in 2010.
Those were solid!
I won't forget Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Toy Story 3, or How To Train Your Dragon either.

2012 IMO was the best year for movies in the 2010's so far.

IMO 2016 was the best year for animated movies.

Ones I can remember were Shrek Forever After, Iron Man 2, Toy Story 3, Tron, Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Hot Tub Time Machine, Grown Ups, Due Date, Inception, Inglorious Bastards, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and a few others. It was an ok year for movies. A lot of bad remakes.

Scott Pilgrim vs the world was hilarious. Loved that.
For animated movies it was great as well, the first Despicable Me I loved as with How To Train Your Dragon, and Toy Story 3 was one of the best cinema experiences I had.
Voyage of the Dawn Treader I actually quite liked despite people not really taking to it.
