Legendary rapper DMX was recently sentenced to a year in jail, over a six year tax evasion scheme.

The article goes on to say that DMX hoped to avoid jail time so that he could support his 15 children. But the judge said no way, José.
DMX, who has been incarcerated on roughly a dozen occasions on a variety of hcrages including weapons violations, multiple cases of animal cruelty (3 times), failure to pay child support, drugs, impersonating a law enforcement officer, robbery, and carjacking, told the judge that when the judge put him in jail this January it "woke him up".
The judge also set restitution at $2.3 million. :o
