My favorite is Apple Music because it has more features, but Spotify has a better community in my opinion

I like Spotify. I miss Sony's Music Unlimited, but Spotify took over that and PlayStation Music.

Definitely Spotify. I use that not only to listen to my music, but to discover new music as well, and I can listen to real full versions of songs for free on my laptop.

My Spotify premium account got terminated for no particular reason so fudge it.
I use Apple Music now and it's going on smooth

Spotify. For us nerds out there, it has a public API!  :D

I used to use Google Play Music, which is actually really good, I preferred their radio feature to Spotify's, but they didn't have a public API, which I wanted to code some music programs, so I had to drop it.

And Spotify keeps a PLETHORA of data on songs, including how danceable or how upbeat a song is, how hardcore it is, average BPM etc. If you know how to use the API, this is a treasure trove of information. E.g. you could make a weekly "Most Danceable Hits" playlist and put songs released in the last week (after 2018-04-11) with a Danceability score of >0.800 and out that into one playlist, if you know how to code. :o

Well what you do is you can "like" or "dislike" a song or artist and then you can create a music folder where all your favorites go into, I call mine "Jamminoldies" where I can play all my favorite jams from way back in the days.

SoundCloud requires you to pay to hear the real song, so until you pay, all you're listening to on there are remixes/covers, and most SoundCloud rappers are trash.
At least on Spotify, if you ever get lucky, you can listen to the real version through a playlist by shuffle without having to pay, but you have a set up restriction for skips, unless you pay of course. Thankfully, I have premium.
