I got Zhu Zhu Pets in Christmas 2010. I remember it and it was also the first Christmas I got my very first dog. The first time I heard him bark was when he saw them moving. ;D

Nintendo DSi, short lived, but many kids (including myself) wanted it for the camera and flip note studio. Speaking of that, Flipnote Hatena was another fad.

Rage comics were more of a 2011-2012 thing and nothing else.

2011-2012 is still the early 2010's, so I don't get what you're trying to say.

I don't know about everybody else but where I live, all kids were crazy over LeapFrog electronics (including me) in the very, VERY late 2000s and Early 2010s. I got the LeapPad and Leapster Explorer, both which have served their time and are broken. It was fun while it lasted  ;D

I really miss Youtube in 2010-2012. It was the best period for it ever. I used to spend hours just watching Smosh, Pewdiepie, and Yogscast. I especially miss Pewdiepie in his Happy Wheels/Amnesia phase. It's very sad that Youtube turned into a hub for cringy vloggers and petty drama.

YouTube had a very carefree and chill attitude among its community too back then. Things got slightly worse in 2013 when the Google + debacle came and the whole year was just backlash and whining around it.
Then it went to hell in 2014-2015 when political arguments were incredibly frequent in non-related videos, people were frequently boasting absolutely backwards views and abysmal attitudes.
Add to that the 90s obsession to make things even worse, and the site was really unwelcoming back then for me.

It's at least in a way better shape today then it was a few years back.

That's at least a massive improvement from what you could read in 2014-2015

YouTube comments - a place where a typical discussion about puppies can turn into one of government conspiracy theories.

I might be the only one who misses the YouTube groups. I was in the anime FTW group. Haha When we got the announcement from Google they would be discontinued, I actually recall us staying active in the group as if it wasn't.

If Sub 4 Sub is still a thing, nostalgia of YouTube's heyday should still exist in that portion of the site.

Sub 4 Sub hasn't been popular since about 2013. I used to do S4S on my original channel back in the Early 2010s. :P

I don't know if anybody else has mentioned this but Epic Rap Battles of History was all the rage in the early '10s.  I always found these to be so cringe-worthy they were hard to watch.

Although Beyblades were really an early 2000s fad based on a manga/anime, it has experienced a renaissance in this decade.
