I want it be some obscure sound that we still don't know about yet in the '10s. I'm desperate for something new. I really hope it isn't some recycled sound from 30 years ago 8-P.

Something completely new, I don't even care if it's bad sounding.
I believe new music should be challenging, both in terms of sound and prior expectations.
We haven't had a big change in music since the 1990s though so I'll be holding my breath.

I would really love to see an industrial metal or "nu-metal" comeback. Or pop-punk along the lines of MCR.
80s style R&B like Mtune would be nice too.
