August is the stand out month of 2011 period

2011! I was 7 years old for my 7th birthday i got a parakeet who died in late 2013, i also remember being in first grade, last month my mom showed me a picture of 7 year old me in September 2011 lol. I kind of miss those times.

Still looking very transitional here. I think elements of the 2010s were apparent as early as 2007, but the core ‘00s culture didn’t fully die off until 2013 or so. It’s especially apparent in these images, where you see parts of both.

Me too. I want it back. I grew my hair out in I think 2010 and had a similar style before getting it straightened (I have even more and thicker hair than the guy in the photo).

Actually I blame 2014-present more. In 2013 there were still some long-haired guy celebs so moreso with common folk (think Harry Styles).

Many men used to grow up their hair to look like that, overall teenagers and boys. Maybe that long hair haircut was influenced by emo hairstyle, but for “normal men”

Which is pretty damn annoying in my opinion. I dare say I've seen short back and sides as early as 2010 but I don't remember well.
