I mean at times it did for me but that’s because I turned 13 later that year, But it feels the same as 2012

In what way? Weird because it was an odd number? Weird because it was...what?

Well I don't know about that, but this feels like the beginning of a decadeology thread, IMO.

2013 is the year that Ke$ha came out with “Timber”, featuring Mister Worldwide himself.

By definition, therefore, 2013 was awesome.

It was also the year where she started flopping big time.

And Timber peaked in 2014

2013 was the year that electropop died.  Ke$ha's last big hurrah was early that year.  Gaga's new album ARTPOP was hyped up but ultimately disappointed and was a flop.  Meanwhile you started to get a lot more indie-folk, teen pop, neo-disco, and EDM.

2013 was very transitional for sure, but with all the big changes that happen in this country the past few years make 2013 seem like a long time ago despite it setting the tone for the mid 10s and much  the 10s culture in general. By 2013 you had the official start to the 8th generation of gamming, Teen Titans Go, Frozen, etc. Even in 2015, 2013 felt different because of the blm protesting, the Chaleston shooting, Bill Cosby trail, Trump being announced running for office and just me being in college in 2015 while still in high school in 2013. All which were either non-existent or wasn't on the news as much. 2013 does feel dated but not as dated as 2010.

ISIS, SJWs, and the Alt-right were all still irrelevant in 2013. However, they were extremely relevant in 2015.
