I think everything before 2017 is showing its age.  2013-2016 is one era in my opinion and they feel like they were a lot longer ago than they actually were.

I think the year where it's starting to age is 2016. A lot of trends from that time no longer seem to be popular anymore. The trends were very mid 2010s until the fall of 2016 but I view late 2016 as a bridge from the mid 2010s to the late 2010s. Vine was very relevant at the time. Dabbing is considered an embarrassment today. It was the last year when pop dominated over rap. The trap sounds different in 2016 compared to now. 2016 was also the last Obama year. 2017 however, still feels the same as today. Don't even get me started on 2015 lol.

Yeah even 2016 is starting to look dated for me. I can imagine the 2010s aging terribly.

Very big differences with the genres between the two years. 2013 was more pop and 2018 is more rap
