Edit: And yeah, the comments of the video prove the 2010s are actually very easily summarized in a bunch of clichés too. Guess only ad-money hungry Youtubers are unable to do that.

I agree. It's really dumb. Just because the internet and social media is huge doesn't mean fads and trends stopped. In fact the 2010s is proof of that. We thought that would happen in the 2000s. But the 2010s actually had even more of a distinct identity than even the 2000s! (at least more than the mid and late 2000s). Everything from trap music, EDM, fidget spinners, games (Fortnight now, Minecraft earlier in the decade), buzzwords, shows, movies, toys, fashion, fads and trends, teen challenges, social media apps, etc. And more than this. This decade had an identity. Sure it may have not been as distinct as the 1990s and 1980s, but it had an identity. Kids who grew up this decade will definitely look back and remember the trends that defined the decade. The video was nonsense.

He needs to check InThe00s, specifically “The 2010’s” section to have any idea about this topic. His video is SO F*CKING WRONG
