I guess 2014 and down. I think 2015 still feel very fresh and connected to today despite having a political world that has changed drastically since. I guess the pop culture of the second half of the 2010s conveniently fully matured by then. For instance, you can mix hit singles from 2015 and 2019 and they will blend seemlessly, while I'm scratching my head here in '19 to why we let stuff like "Fancy" and "Animals" becoming huge hits in 2014.

2014 hits are really showing it's age. I couldn't imagine songs like these having any success, let alone released today.

I'm not saying most of them bad though. These songs don't have a chance to be popular today simply because of the themes and production.
