Subject: The 2010s are Officially Over

Written By: Dundee on 04/01/19 at 10:04 am

Brace yourselves people, the genre-defining "Sweet But Psycho" from the notorious and influential artist Ava Max has reached the top 5 on iTunes US. The culture has been now officially fully been turned upside down and shifted significantly from it was before. This means we enter a brand new decade culturally.

Goodbye 2010s, we'll miss ya!

Finally, it's about time the 2020s have begun and good riddance to the 2010s. Things have been feeling completely different ever since Sweet But Psycho reached the Top 5 on iTunes. Future generations will remember the Great Shift of 2019.

I don't think Sweet But Psycho is groundbreaking at all, it sounds very generic and would not stand out at all in the early to mid 10's. I would never compare Ava Max to Gaga because when Gaga came out with Just Dance in 2008 that really was groundbreaking because it was a such  a new and fresh sound for the time, Sweet But Psycho sounds like a song from 2013

If what you say is true (haven't heard it yet), it's a return to better music, that's groundbreaking in itself imo. It's very hard to come up with a brand new genre as most things have been done already. I hope my personal life improves like it did in 2013.

No sweaty, we still have to wait for Ariana to lower her ponytail for the 3rd time and for Post Malone to take his biannual bath for the new era. Then we will finally be ushered in the glorious emo rock dominated SJW-free 2020s.
