So, in other words, basically just business as usual?

Considering how very worn out 2019 feels, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a whirlwind of change that'd catch most of us off guard sometime in 2020. All I know is that the early 2020s is already here in some form, we just don't know what it is yet.

There is trouble brewing for gaming. Not among the console developers/game publishers, but among the game studios themselves. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's heard about these labor disputes regarding crunch time hours, low compensation, and studio execs who are out of touch with their staff and the industry as a whole.

I have often referred to this past decade as a renaissance for gaming. While the '00s were fairly good for gaming, between the technical/graphical innovations and the growing acceptance of gaming as a hobby, studios were definitely in a slump by the end of it resulting in hack 'n' slash, WoW/Diablo-clone shovelware dominating the market. In the past decade, we experienced a revival thanks to the proliferation of smaller developers, foreign developers, and studios willing to experiment on a heretofore unheard of scale (Undertale, The Forest, The Stanley Parable, and much more).

But I fear the above issues are going to cause a contraction in game creativity in the 2020s and the market will suffer as a whole, unless execs finally address these issues and provide better working conditions for programmers. Otherwise, what's going to happen is what's been happening in the last couple years: brain drain. The good programmers will leave for app companies and Silicon Valley, the bad ones will stay and fail upwards into executive positions themselves.

The Wi-Fi is provided so if the public transport is playing up, alternative routes for travel can be worked out.

Fully autonomous electric vehicles are going to be a major step towards universalizing the use of public transportation and away from personal automotives. Whether the auto companies realize that or not, well, who’s to say?

I think it will be difficult to recharge your phone on the bus while it's moving.

Yes indeed, to stop the passengers from getting bored.

We don't know anything yet. All we know is what they tell us, but until we are actually in the early '20s we wont know for sure what the vibe will be life. I think this culture will continue on through 2020.

I did see one bus with a charge on it, but I cannot now remember which route it was.
