You can't get any more early 2010s than a cheesy pop rock song: LjhCEhWiKXk

Or another cheesy pop rock song:

"Fireflies" by Owl City is a pure, nostalgic song. It was inescapable back in 2009.

A dope song that turned into one of the most controversial and braggadocious acronyms in history ;D.

I enjoy this song a lot. Too bad it's the unofficial school shooter anthem for the internet.

^This probably encapsulates the early 2010s the best out of any song/clip. Party electropop, dubstep section, references of new technologies and a dash of the incoming apocalypse.

Good choice 👍

Do you think the clips shown in this thread are decent choices for the early 2010s era?

I'm 30 and I still think of this stuff as new music. Weird that it's 8-10 years old.

I'm almost 10 years younger and even I think it's bizarre to see music videos that came out 8-10 years ago is now OLD. They still look modern to me because of the high-definition quality.

I made a thread on Personality Cafe a few years back dedicated to 'Electropop Era Teens', but regardless of your age you're free to check out and contribute to:

Also... this song right here was a REAL Bop:

It's now a little over a decade old :o.

I haven't heard that song much as a kid, but it's still a classic.

There were a lot of quintessential 2010's songs that debuted throughout 2010-2014, especially 2010 and 2013. It's tough to say but I feel like the songs from the earlier part of the 2010's were more quintessential to the decade than the later 2010's songs. Crazy.

I feel like it was one of the greatest hip hop ensembles in the genre's history. It also is a relic of a bygone era, especially given that all four of these guys are beefing with each other now. Most notably, the decade long beef between Drake and Kanye, sigh.....

Two of some of the greatest musical minds in the industry would rather drag each other down than build something truly greater. It's sad really (regardless of whichever side of the debate you're on).
