Subject: I hope the overused 2010s script fonts go away

Written By: imrane on 01/24/20 at 10:42 am

I hope in the 20s the overused script fonts disappear. They're all over blogs and some are not very readable. They were not such a thing in the early 2010s, they got big after 2016.

I don't recall having seen that font. Where did you see it? ???

I only hope comic sans goes away but 3 decades later it shows no signs of abating.

I didn't know people overused fancy font or that it was common? Fancy fonts are fine for titles, but most bloggers want you to be able to read their posts.

I usually see quirky fonts on the logos of the company websites, not really the articles. I don't really mind them tbh.

Travel bloggers abuse cursive/script fonts:

I think many food bloggers do the same.

Comic Sans, Impact, and Times New Roman are honestly so overrated.

For all of my email correspondence I use good old fashioned Courier.  8)

This is the first I've ever seen that font. I find it refreshing, honestly.

I'm sorry, Sman12, but I like Comic Sans, if the situation calls for it (e.g. a comic). And what's wrong with Impact? That's one of the coolest fonts. And Times New Roman? Seriously? That's one of the best, and least conspicuous or quirky, fonts.

I mostly use Courier when writing scripts, or imitating a typewriter.

Howard, I think you mean Helvetica.

That's a nice font, don't you think?
