Subject: 94 days until 2022 (at the time I'm making this)

Written By: JimiBoy04 on 09/29/21 at 7:02 pm

I'm excited when 2022 comes, to be honest. Here are all of the age milestones for that year:

1997: Will be at the age where their brain has physically finished developing (25 years old)
2000: Will be graduating college and entering the workforce
2001: Will be at the legal age to drink in the United States
2004: Will be at the legal age of adulthood in most countries in the world (18.)
2006: Will be of age to get a driver's license in the United States
2008: Will be entering high school as freshmen
2009: Will become teenagers.
2011: Will enter middle school in the United States
2012: Will have been alive for a decade this year.
2017: Will enter the K-12 school system in the U.S.
2019: Will be at the age to develop their earliest set of memories.

Sorry if that's a lot. It's really interesting how time goes on.

That's an effect of 2018 being a black hole. We all of a sudden got spit out into another dimension, or another universe in the same dimension.

I lean towards another dimension, but I'm not sure.
It might be something we never figure out. I think dimensions in the same physical space are supposed to have more minor differences in them than separate universes, but I don't think anyone in this universe and dimension in which this is posted hosts any (regular) cross-dimensional travelers or regular flyers through universes in order for us to learn for sure from the stories of.

Looking forward to the new year. Oddly enough, I always have a great new years celebration going into even-numbered years, while the opposite happens with odd-numbered years.

2015: Bus home from downtown blew a flat and I had to use the restroom soooooo bad.
2016: 21 and went to such a fun club in Hollywood with a bunch of friends.
2017: Boyfriend was out of town and my friends got into a physical fight.
2018: Fun house party.
2019: Blacked out :(
2020: Ahhmaaaazzzinnngg house party in SF.
2021: Very simply but terrible hangover the next day (ugh getting older lol)
2022: tbd

On another note, I intend to begin the year still employed, however that position ends August 1, 2022, so I may have to experience unemployment again in the future (thankfully I live in CA).  BF and I have a lot of friends' weddings to attend that year which we are so excited for, and we've been getting more serious about engagement/marriage lately! I'll be turning 28, which this is so dumb but to me sounds nicer and more established than 27, and I will be more established in my professional career. My hope is that the pandemic will actually be behind us by the end of 2022.

Anyway, hoping for the best for me in 2022, and for y'all on this site too :)
