Subject: Musically, Early '20s are a Continuation of 2013?

Written By: Slim95 on 10/05/21 at 1:44 am

Hear me out. In 2013 you had this explosion of pop songs utilizing '70s /'80s throwback beats. In 2014 it stopped besides a few artists like Bruno Mars still doing it. So it's almost like musically we advanced from 2013 but 2014 changed it. I know there's no science behind it, it's just interesting.

A lot of songs in 2013 had that '70s disco throwback style. I guess the difference now is it is more '80s. But Bruno Mars and others were already doing '80s throwbacks in the 2010s.

Didn’t we have that 70s throwback hit in like 2015 also by Bruno Mars. Bruno sure seems to like the 70s and 80s
