Subject: Why were there so many songs about "Savage" in 2020?

It reminds me of there being so many songs about "work" in 2016. It's kind of odd. Haha pretty weird indeed.

Back when Ray-J released his song ”I Hit it First” (reputedly an ode to Kim Kardashian and a diss to Kanye West), the word ‘savage’ was frequently used to describe it.

I wouldn’t call two songs “so many”. Just looked through the list of top 100 songs for 2020. You might as well say why were there so many songs with numbers in the title. I can find more examples of that than title with Savage in them

Indie pop trio duo Bahari beat them by two years, back when Sidney Sartini was still in the group.

Though they too joined the 2020 party with a remix with BIA after they signed with Epic.

I can only see three songs that made the top 75 hits in the UK.

By:
Mist
Megan Thee Stallion
Jawsh 685 And Jason Derulo

Three is not even a handful?
