Subject: The Chainsmokers Are Following The Retro Trend

I mean don't get me wrong, EDM is NOWHERE NEAR retro since its peak is only 5 years old, but it is definitely nostalgic since it is before the COVID era. The Chainsmokers new songs are playing right into this nostalgic trend. Like their new song IPad for example, IPads are not a new trends or anything. It has been years since the latest IPad has made headlines. So that song is quite nostalgic for that reason.

I was just thinking that the iPad song, the main part as it starts off as a piano ballad, reminds me of something Calvin Harris could have performed in the 2010's (particularly the "Summer" song).
