Have to say I never heard of a “telescoping urinal” until now :-[. Apparently they were installed 20 years ago. Seems that nocturnal revelers were whizzing on the sidewalks at night, so these telescoping jobbies were installed. During the day they are retracted underground, and then at night they “telescope” to the surface so people can answer their call to duty in a socially acceptable manner.
