Munchos?  OMG, I used to love those!  It must have been 20 or so years ago that I last had them, but they were the strangest, tastiest and most interesting potato chip I've ever eaten!   LOL!

We have Manwich in Vancouver...

"A sandwich is a sandwich, but a Manwich is a MEAL!"  :)

I eat it a couple of times a month.  It's quick, cheap and easy.  And speaking of that...    :-X

I shop primarily at Superstore, and buy it there sometimes.  There is another brand, whose name escapes me at the moment, that is actually cheaper.  It's pretty much the same stuff, though.

If all else fails, let me know, and I'll cook you dinner sometime!

But of course!  :)

I like that you call it Stupidstore.  Some people look at me strange when I say that I'm going shopping at Stupidstore, so I try to use the real name when I describe it to people I don't know well.

Well, Bugles are back as I've said before but no Daisys and whatever the cheese ones were.Anyone remember "Whip 'n' Chill"? But I am grateful for Bugles. But I guess Kraft Thousand Island dressing in the jar that was so thick it had to be spooned out and American Beauty Dumplets Dinners {my kids' favorite} are gone forever.

We have Goobers around my town, but I am not sure I wanna eat them.  ;D
Manwich is what my mom made when we had no money for real food. ::)  But ours usually came in a black and white can??-LOL

Which reminds me...

Remember going to the store, back in the day, when there was the isle of generic food? Everything  was simply labled and in B&W..ie, Grape Jelly, Flakes, Oats, puffed corn!! UGH!!!  I HATED going down that isle with my parents! :D

Of course, I'm English, so unless anyone can come up with any evidence otherwise, I'll have never heard of Muncho's or anything else you speak of. How unfortunate.

You just reminded me of something else....

I used to get "Jordan Almonds" at the movie theatre (my favorite movie theatre candy, BTW) and now they don't carry them anymore. As a matter of fact, the ONLY place I've been able to find them at all anymore is "Ames" department store in their candy section. Go figure.  :-/

It is once again available here in Charleston, WV in six-packs.  I thought they took it off the market in favor of diet Coke!  After all, Tab was the original diet Coke!  Man, I haven't seen it in ages until now!

I remember in the early '90's seeing "Clear Tab", without the caramel coloring in St. Louis. Don't know if it was a test market or what. I guess it didn't catch on.

I never saw it, but I'm sure it probably didn't make it for the same reasons Pepsi Clear didn't. Sometimes, people hate change, I guess.

I personally think 'Funyons' are just about the scariest snack food around. Are those from the 70s?
