Subject: Teaze

Wondering if anyone has any idea whatever happened to 70s Canadian group "Teaze"? They had a big hit here called "Sweet Misery" on their first album...I remember them opening for April Wine on one of their tours...they were also very big in Japan. They recorded "Good Times" long before Jimmy Barnes and INXS (their version was called "Gonna Have A Good Time Tonight" and was also a cover)....I can't find any info on them at all. All I can remember is that their bassist was very religious and their drummer had manes of curly hair and his last name was Kozak.....weird what we remember huh? LOL...must be the beer...

I saw them in concert in Halifax Nova Scotia, they backed up April Wine on I beleive the First Glance tour and i saw them a year later as the headliner with Streetheart as the backup. I think they had an album out called Made in Japan, but never heard of them after 1980 or81

I spoke to a friend of mine today who I know also liked Teaze and he told me he has 4 albums of theirs....On The Loose (their first), Tour of Japan, One Night Stands and Body Shots..that sparked a memory and I sifted through all my cassettes that he made for me back then and sure enough...a copy of Body Shots so I listened to it today....pretty good album still today!

Still...I'd love to know what became of them....maybe MuchMoreMusic will do a "The Story of..." on them...
