Subject: Slow Rock Song Needs Identifying

It's a group that sounds kinda like ELO. Could it be ELO? Well, the main line in the song seems to be:

"It's always been you.... woman.... right down the line."

I hope that line helps! As always, Thanks In Advance!  :)

"Right Down The Line" (#12 in 1978) correctly identified previously as sung by Gerry Rafferty.

What an awesome song!!!  That one ranks up there in my Top 5, for sure!  I always thought it was better than his other hit, "Baker Street"....although that is really good, too! :)

I too preferred it to "Baker Street" and it's getting a lot more airplay than Baker as well ;)
