Have you seen him lately? He still looks pretty good!

BTW, you and I both became "Rockhopper Penguins" on the same day, and now here we are, back to "Little Blue." You can cry on my shoulder, if I can cry on yours   :'(

This may upset the Danny Bonaduce fans out there. But the last time I saw the PF reruns, I didn't think he was anything special. And he still does the Danny Partridge routine in public appearances. Some people just don't know when their 15 minutes are up.
Have you've seen a recent photo of the girl that played Tracy? She was fat, and I don't mean pretty, hot and tempting. :P

Yeah, he was in Vegas when I was out the a couple of years ago and there were posters of him everywhere! He's aged quite gracefully!

I know! It's too bad. We were only Rockhoppers for a few short days! But I'll bet we will be back there soon!!! Should I bring the Kleenex?  ;)

One of my first Lp's was thier 1st one in 1970....I thought Susan Dey was pretty cute...of course I was only 10 at the time so ::) I think Danny Bonaduce has evolved into quite a great guy.  He's a dedicated dad and even though the recent "Boxing" show was IMO a cheap rip-off of the biggest rip-off (Pro Wrestling) I liked the way he showed sincere concern for "Greg Brady" after putting him on the canvas for the final time...sure, he's had his share of problems but I think he's a class act ;)

This dosen't upset me in the slightest... I have always thought he was annoying as a child...yes, I know that is the way his character was written- however, his behavior over the years have only served to reinforced that...it wasn't cute then, and it isn't now.

IMO, of course.....

And David Cassidy is most definetly a hottie still!!!!

YUP! I'm a HUGE David Cassidy Fan and so is my best friend. We have seen him in EFX in Las Vegas, in Blood Brothers on Broadway several years ago, seen him in concert many times  and have met him in person for album signings etc. He IS still a HOTTIE indeedy!  ;D. On May 6th he will be on Good Morning America promoting his new album.

I agree Donny Bonaduce has not been a good role model. He used to open for David Cassidy when he was on tour. His comedy act was rather crude and people would boo him off the stage.

Big fan!

One of the first 45s I ever owned was "I'll Meet You Half Way".

Still listen to my "Greatest Hits" all the time.

At 42, I still love 'The Partridge Family', the only television show I like as much as that one is 'The Simpsons'.  Hey, when MTV ran their PF marathon a few years back my VCR was busy recording.  Unfortunately I could not acquire the episode where Danny was selling Keith's possessions to raise money.  That was a classic.

And I would love to have had Keith's hair cut....great hair.

Peace,
A'isha

Yeah, selling Keith's hair was pretty funny, wasn't it!

42--Allright! Welcome to our slowly growing "over-40s" Geritol group. We mostly hang around here in the 70s, 'cus it's so hard to keep up with the young'uns over in the 80s and 90s!  :D

Thank you for the warm welcome

Yep, I am one of those with iron-poor blood.  But I haven't tried Geritol.  I use Ferrous Sulfate pills....cheaper but with the same effect.  I still have all but one of my teeth though, but the grey hair is too much for even the strongest hairdye.

Oops, I am also losing my memory so forgive me if I tend to repeat myself. forgive me if I tend to repeat myself...repeat myself...repeat myself.  Deja Vu?

Now, I gotta get back to those life insurance applications... ;)

Peace,
A

I have always wondered that too - it is a term I use sometimes - from memory I got it from Henry Blake on M*A*S*H - I can still see him saying it with that big open mouthed grin.

In my country, and back in the 70's you could get Ice Blocks named Bippies....they were awful...like a poor man's Have-A-Heart (if of course you know what that is)    :-/

I'm not sure what a "Bippie" is, but I believe this was a line used on Rowan and Martins Laugh-In. I could be wrong. Can anyone clarify this?

"You bet your sweet bippie," is a line from Laugh In.

Sock it to me!

I have to confess that I watched and liked "The Partridge Family" and even owned one of their albums.  There was a song on that album, "You Are Always On My Mind", that I just loved and played over and over.  It was sooooo nice (yeah and David Cassidy wasn't half-bad either!).

Jan, I may have been obsessed with Cat and Neil for so many years, but even at 42 I think David Cassidy is hot.  GREAT HAIR!!!

A'isha

Loved it. I have tapes of the Partridge Family that I play in the car and singalong very loud !

I went to see David Cassidy in concert in London in November and he was brilliant (and still looks cute).

Everyone talks about Kelly Osbourne remaking S*lt-donnas "Papa Don't Preach" well...how about this copied/pasted message from another thread!?

David Cassidys daughter Katie, 15,  has recorded the 1970 Partridge Family song "I Think I Love You" which should be released in 3 weeks.
