Subject: Speaking of M*A*S*H

My buudy and I often discuss MASH. It can be broken down into different eras. I personally think the first three seasons with Trapper and Henry were by far the  zaniest and funniest of all. I love to catch those when they are on. Pure humor!!!

I guess the same can be said of All In The Family and Saturday  Night Live too. The earlier ones were the funniest.

I hated Frank Burns at first, I still do. But in a good way. RIP Larry Linville.

And don't forget "Henry" :'( I hated the fact that they "Killed him off" on the show....that's when I started to not like it nearly as much. Also, he and I shared the same birthday...February 15th

I agree with the previous sentiments entirely.

The first seasons with Henry, Frank & Trapper were by far the best.

I got to like Charles' character after a long time, but never really warmed to Hunnicut or Potter.

The later episodes progressively got into 'darker' subjects too much for my liking.

I can't believe this topic didn't get more attention, so I'm bringing it back.  When I was in the Air Force...many years ago, I was affectionatly known as "Hawkeye"....we need MORE Hawkeyes and Less Frank Burns' in this world....there's already enough crap in the world...enjoy life and laugh once in a while, was and still is my attitude about life ;)
