Subject: HELP with some children's TV programs

Written By: Machete on 07/29/02 at 02:31 p.m.

Hi,
anyone have any info/links for the following programs? I swear I must have hallucinated them as I can't find one (not one) other person that recognizes these programs:

1. I know the name of this one : Hot Fudge. That's it. I can't remember a thing about the show beyond the intro (must be why it was cancelled). The intro had a song that went "It's hot fudge" or something. haunts me to this day from the moment my subconscious recalled it in an idle moment.

2. I don't know the name of this one. It had puppets, but they were done muppet style. The main character was this boy named andy? andrew? anthony? He was green, and wore regular clothing. The only other character that I remember was name george. He was blue, with a big head, and a shock of blond hair. I remember he was agrouchy character and always had a frown on his face.  I *think* maybe this show came out of Canada or Britain.

Anyone?

I have vague memories of Hot Fudge.  Like you, I only remember the opening lines of the theme song.  I remember one female(?) character who had a southern accent and reminded me of a puppet Peppermint Patty.  It was a saturday morning show(6:30 or 7:30 am on our local station)  that probably aired around 1976 - I think I was around five or six years old.  Sorry, I don't know of any websites for info on the show.

Sorry, I don't think they were in Australia but I was never really glued to the TV. I can remember in my childhood days of a Rock Wallaby with his own show. He was always yelling "Cooee Cobber boing Boing".   (Don't ask I was young then.)
Sorry again
