Subject: The Who's temporary drummer, 1974

Written By: The Skuz on 08/27/02 at 08:26 a.m.

While watching a VH-1 Documentary on The Who, I remeber an incident during a 1974 tour where Keith Moon passed out on stage and they had to ask for someone from the audience to stand in for him. There are probably thousands of ex-kids at that concert who will claim that they were the stand-in drummer for The Who back then, but does anybody know exactly who it was?

???

Just curious.

Because I am The Skuz.

I always believed it was Kenny Johnston, the guy who replaced Keith Moon when he died....someone told me that it was the same guy...but I don't know this for a fact...
