Subject: Hot wheels cartoon

Written By: Leper2000 (Guest) on 11/01/02 at 09:42 a.m.

Hi again,
I have another request to post, in the 70's there use to be a weekly cartoon out called "hotwheels" I think, I use to watch it all the time, being a hotwheel fan, it had a soundtrack to go with the cartoon that was excellent for it's time, I was wondering if anyone has heard of it or know if those cartoons are available on video?
My kids are hotwheel fans and collect their cars, to be able to show them the hotwheels cartoons of the 70's that I watched as a kid would be great, any help would be appreciated!!
I have searched the multitude of sites looking for the cartoons on video but have had no luck, and I even wrote to the makers of the hotwheels cars and they never answered due to the enormous amounts of letters they get daily, so if someone out there knows of a link or another place that might have some info, thanks ahead of time.

I just did a search on Winmx. They did not have anyhting out there for Hot Wheels. I thought they might because I downloaded some Speed Racer and Spiderman cartoons.

It's funny you mentioned WINMX, I too searched on that, I found a hotwheels song on thier awhile back called "HOTWHEELS" by the DirtBombs, but that wasn't the song that was on the cartoon, it is a good song though.:)

Maybe you could try going to the mattell website or call the 800 number for some information.  That's just my suggestion ;)

Thank you Union_Jack, I called the 800#, but they told me nothing that could help me, I wrote them also, by the time they wrote back I forgot the question.:) They told me with the volume of mail they get daily there was no way to answer me, so they sent me a list of collector car clubs to write too, no luck, I will try the mattel site, if it works I will let ya know.:)

I think I am one of a few girls who liked Hot Wheels (mainly because this boy I liked in first grade liked them). I had one (or maybe he did) that I loved called the "Spliting Image."  I don't remember the cartoon though.
